So I'm outta town today, apartment hunting in Toronto actually. So I thought I should at least post something before I go so there's something new for you all to read.

The decision was based on a website mentioned on a forum I frequent. That website http://portableapps.com. On this site you can find AbiWord, Firefox, Thunderbird, OpenOffice, Gaim and several other applications, all designed to be portable. Drop them on your usb key and away you go... no need to install, no need for anything but mobility... You can move around and bring everything with you. Now if you're storing your email on this you have to remember that no encryption is provided, however, a copy of TrueCrypt on your disk, with all your portable apps stored in a TrueCrypt container, may keep you nice and safe.

Anyways... that's all until I get back, which will probably be rather late and I'm sure I won't have more than one or two posts... I'm sorry to all of you that are daily readers, but today will be missed.
