I just received an identical e-mail yesterday 3-21-07 from paypal that I have paid lwpelectronics $239.95 for a cell phone. It was being shipped to Bill Chang in Me.. I have not ordered anything and I did not authorize the payment for anyone else!!! This is fraud. I filed the appropriate complaints and an investigation is underway.

I received a phish scam too regarding lwpelectronics for a cell phne purchase, shipped to: Bil Chnag of Magnolia St Saco Maine. It’s a fraudulent PAYPAL account message telling me that someone has charged against my paypal account-a Nokia cell phone totalling about $300. iI

It’s a scam and it starts out with “Dear Paypal Member” (that is a red flag)
I am followng up and will investigate further.

I have pursued scams before and managed to get law local law enforcement involved and eventually busted them, and person lost her job.
