I had such high hopes for IntenseDebate after meeting the owner of the company at BlogWorldExpo, but when I finally got an invite to try it out, it failed miserably. The support forums were a mess, and it wasn't worth the trouble to me. Hopefully with WP's acquisition, it'll become more seemless in the future.
